What’s the easiest way to capture a college coach’s attention and get recruited? Simple: be a god at baseball. That’s the most straightforward answer AND there are kids that fall into that category, Their recruiting process will be a breeze with the highest caliber of schools lining up for them.
Ok, but the majority of us don’t throw 95 MPH from the bump or can hit the ball with the exit velo of a young Bryce Harper. But just because that level of skill isn’t in the cards YET, doesn’t mean the recruiting process has to be tumultuous.

The talent gap between those teams is massive. That is real. The Florida State guys can hit harder, throw faster, run better. That is just true.
But one game does not care about the talent gap.
